Quest is led by the Governing Elder Board, the Lead Pastor and the Staff. In addition, we don’t believe “elder” is a Biblical term only assigned to people on the governing board, so we have a number of Elders who have at one time served on the governing board who continue as elders in the church and we rely on them for leadership and wise counsel.
The Governing Elder Board oversees the large scale definition of mission, healthy spirituality, goals and budget holding accountable the Lead Pastor to leading in such a way that the vision and goals become a reality in a healthy manner.
Quest has one of the healthiest models of governance among churches, that clearly distinguishes roles of board, lead pastor, and staff in such a way that there is both clarity and real accountability.
